JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reservation Agent to join our customer service team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and have a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences. As a Reservation Agent, you will be responsible for managing reservations, assisting guests with inquiries, and ensuring a seamless booking process. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in customer service or front desk operations is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and reservation software is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound customer calls promptly, professionally, and courteously. Screen and forward calls or emails to appropriate staff when required. Ensure phone calls are prioritized.
  • Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while interacting with guests.
  • Assist guests with new bookings, modifications or cancellations of existing reservations.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings for passengers, travel agents, and corporate accounts to ensure all information is entered correctly into the reservation system.
  • Handle inquiries related to guest services and address any concerns promptly and professionally with detail via phone, email or online system.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by office manager or dispatch team.
  • Securely handle confidential payment processing for reservations.
  • Coordinate with dispatch team for availability while taking reservations.
