Novotel Queenstown Lakeside is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused part time Hotel Reservations Agent to become part of our dynamic Reservations team. This role includes working weekends and public holidays 30 hours a week. Job Description Key Responsibilities: · Handle hotel room reservations efficiently via phone, email, and online platforms. · Respond to guest queries, booking modifications, and special requests in a timely and professional manner. · Maintain accurate records of all bookings in the hotel’s reservation system (OPERA). · Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless guest experience. · Provide exceptional customer service and support in line with brand standards. · Ensure data accuracy and attention to detail when processing reservations. · Manage large volumes of correspondence while maintaining service standards. Qualifications Skills and Experience Required: · At least 6 months' experience in a reservations, hotel front office, or customer service role. · Proficiency with hotel booking systems such as OPERA or similar front office platforms. · Strong written and verbal English communication skills. · High attention to detail and organisational skills. · Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively. · Proven commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.
