JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Manages telephone, fax and email inquiries in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with company standards ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times
  • Enter reservations received from all sources.
  • Enter all group reservations in a timely manner and handles all subsequent changes.
  • Create all group and airline crew blocks and airline crew manifests.
  • Responsible for creating and adjusting Group files for all groups and third party accounts with accurate billing and special notes.
  • Prepare various reports as and when required.
  • Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximize revenue.
  • Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel facilities and processes, and contribute to a culture of high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts.
  • Assist other departments, as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and administration skills
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Commitment to delivering high level customer service
  • High level of IT skills
  • Knowledge of OPERA an asset
