The new take on Americana has a warm and residential feel, a grand open kitchen and a beautiful, lush wrap around outdoor garden terrace.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Reservationist to join that team that will be responsible for creating a positive guest experience that begins with a proper greeting to influence the guest’s first impression. You are a critical member of the team and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive first and last impression. The team always go out of their way to take care of our guest’s special requests. Working with a team first mentality and going above and beyond is something they do proudly.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel and e-mail
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Great with time management and multitasking.

Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience in customer service.
  • Previous experience with luxury dining environments.
  • Must successfully complete the restaurant’s training course.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing and walking.
  • Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.

Note: Salary will be dependent on overall experience.

Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and emails promptly regarding reservation requests, inquiries and modifications.
  • Schedule and modify reservations as required.
  • Work closely with General Manager, Executive Chef and Events team to ensure smooth service for all customers.
  • Greet customers as soon as they walk through the door.
  • Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods.
  • Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment.
  • Seat guests.
  • Assist with opening/closing tasks and extra tasks as needed.
  • Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for waitstaff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
