Position Summary Motek is seeking a highly organized, guest-focused, and detail-oriented Remote Reservationist to oversee reservations and guest communications across all locations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining reservation accuracy, protecting revenue, supporting guest satisfaction, and ensuring seamless service flow before guests even arrive. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, calm under pressure, and understands that hospitality begins with the first interaction. Responsibilities: Manage all incoming reservations via phone, SevenRooms (or reservation platform), email, and online channels Answer guest inquiries regarding reservations, large party bookings, waitlists, and general restaurant information Process reservation modifications, cancellations, and special requests accurately Monitor reservation pacing to prevent overbooking and ensure proper service flow Charge and document applicable no-show and late cancellation fees in accordance with company policy Respond to guest inquiries regarding no-show charges professionally and clearly Assist guests with receipt requests, billing questions, and transaction confirmations Support management with chargeback disputes by gathering documentation, reservation details, and proof of service Maintain accurate guest profiles and notes within the reservation system Communicate VIP arrivals, large parties, and special accommodations to management teams Assist in private dining and large group inquiries as needed Uphold Motek’s brand voice and hospitality standards in all written and verbal communication Schedule: Fully remote position Availability required during peak reservation hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Flexible scheduling based on business needs Skills & Competencies: Strong customer service mindset High level of discretion and professionalism when handling billing matters Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills Revenue protection awareness Accountability and strong follow-through Team-oriented communicator Benefits: Paid time off Wages paid weekly Growth opportunities 401k savings plans Medical, dental and vision insurance (upon eligibility) Employee discounts Requirements Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred Experience with SevenRooms, OpenTable, or similar reservation systems strongly preferred Familiarity with POS systems and payment processing platforms is a plus Strong understanding of cancellation policies and guest recovery practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational ability Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure Professional, warm, and solution-oriented demeanor Reliable internet connection and dedicated remote workspace
