Job Description As a Reservations Agent, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for handling reservations and inquiries efficiently, ensuring a seamless booking process. Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Managing guest bookings, changes, and cancellations with accuracy and professionalism. Responding promptly and courteously to guest inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels. Providing detailed information on room types, rates, packages, and amenities to assist guests in selecting their ideal stay. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, promotions, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience. Ensuring special requests and preferences are noted and communicated effectively to relevant departments. Collaborating with the front office and other relevant departments to maximise occupancy and revenue. Delivering exceptional guest service and resolving booking-related issues promptly and effectively and You will demonstrate a guest-centric approach with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess the following: Prior experience in a reservations or customer service role within the hospitality industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work a variety of different shift times. Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and familiarity with reservations software is an advantage. A positive and professional manner, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
