Job Description
Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort is currently seeking a vibrant and customer focused individual to join our Reservations team. If you are a confident communicator with a passion for delivering exceptional service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a Reservations Agent, you will play a key role in managing bookings across the Resort. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests, handling room inquiries, reservations, confirmations, and cancellations. In addition, you’ll assist with yield management to ensure we maximise occupancy and revenue.
You’ll also be fully knowledgeable about the hotel’s facilities, services, packages, and specials, enabling you to provide tailored recommendations and build genuine connections with both new and returning guests, using guest history to enhance their experience.

This is an active position involving:

  • Efficiently and accurately process all guest reservations
  • Provide up-to-date and detailed information on hotel facilities, special offers, and promotions
  • Ensure all guest records and reservation details are accurately updated and maintained
  • Assist guests with reservation inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Consistently provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Offer a personalised and memorable experience tailored to each guest’s needs
  • Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships across all hotel departments

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or reservations role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask whilst ensuring exceptional attention to detail
  • Immaculate presentation and grooming standards
  • A passion for sales and promotion
  • High level of creativity with local knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to guest satisfaction
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude with a friendly and outgoing personality
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, mornings and evenings
