Job Description We’re looking for a proactive and motivated Reservations Agent to join our team on a full-time basis. As a natural communicator with strong attention to detail, you’ll bring confidence, initiative, and a “can-do” attitude to everything you do. You’ll work closely with our Revenue Team, supporting multiple Accor Wellington properties (Sofitel, Mövenpick, Novotel, and ibis), ensuring every reservation contributes to maximising occupancy and revenue. Located in the heart of Wellington’s vibrant CBD, this role offers variety, teamwork, and the opportunity to grow your skills within a global hotel group. Key Responsibilities Handle reservation enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms. Assist guests with bookings, provide accurate information, and promote our hotels’ unique offerings. Process reservations accurately using Opera Cloud. Maximise room occupancy and revenue through upselling and cross-selling. Liaise with hotel departments to ensure guest requests and preferences are met. Resolve booking issues promptly and professionally. Support group bookings and corporate enquiries as required. Maintain accurate records of all reservations and guest interactions. Support your team and management with any other reasonable duties as needed. Qualifications Previous Front Office or Reservations experience is essential. Prior use of Opera cloud & TARS Database or similar PMS is preferred. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail. Proactive selling approach with excellent time management skills. A great personality, innovation, and a "can do" attitude are crucial for success. Reliability and commitment to the role long term.
