About the role
We have positions available in our Reservations Team, and we are seeking people who have dynamic personalities, accompanied with exceptional communication skills. Situated in our contact centre located at the Stamford Plaza Adelaide, you’ll serve as the first line of inquiry for room reservations, Hotel offerings and Brand driver, across both Adelaide properties, Stamford Plaza Adelaide and Stamford Grand Adelaide.
Our respected Reservations Agents offer exceptional guest service experience, knowledgeable accommodation options and solutions to meet guests and potential guests requirements.
Core requirements of your role
To kindly and effectively respond to incoming reservations enquiries via the phone in a prompt manner, whilst educating the potential guest on the Hotels offering by up selling our many service opportunities to maximise revenue opportunities.
Offer knowledgeable and friendly service experiences to external and internal guests at on each occasion
Professionally ensure expertise with our reservations system, all tiers of our rate structure, occupancy and Hotel features
Liaise with relevant stakeholders as necessary to ensure consistency in brand
Oversee and support room inquiries, reservations, confirmations, cancellations and operating yield management to ensure highest rates and occupancy are achieved
Proactively convert inquiries into contracted business
Meet or exceed required individual, team or organisational qualitative and quantitative performance standards
Build rapport with both new guests and regular guests by maximising the use of the guests history
About you
If you have experience or express an interest in a call centre reservations environment and have strong customer service drive, preferably in a Hotel environment then we’d appreciate hearing from you.
Strong knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office
Competent knowledge of OPERA PMS (desirable)
Fluent English, verbally & written
Experience providing prompt and efficient service including upselling skills is advantageous
Availability to work across a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Strong time management and organisational skills, with exceptional eye for detail
Have the legal requirements to live and work unrestricted in Australia
