Job Description As a friendly voice on the phone or amicable contact by email, you will provide our guests with excellent service, starting with the booking process. Your duties will also include the following: Reviewing and processing bookings, overbookings and options Maintaining OPERA Cloud, as well as our electronic bookings systems Generating and verifying invoices (debtors and creditors) in line with our pricing policy Handling deposits and monitoring timely incoming payments Assisting both the Sales and Front Office team at peak times Qualifications Whether you are a hotel professional or changing careers – you will fit in here! Because personality and hosting skills are our priority. You will also: Have completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade and/or have professional experience in the hotel/catering/customer call centre industry or be looking for a change of career Have an excellent sense of quality and service, as well as hosting skills and a passion for the hotel industry Be open and communicative and have excellent manners, as well as a solid command of (written and spoken) English Be a team player and willing to provide assistance across departments – we achieve our results together Department: Front Office & Reservation Pay: Individual agreement Hotel: Motel One Glasgow^7708 Type of Employment: Full-time
