The Reservations Agent is responsible for handling all incoming inquiries and bookings with the utmost professionalism and accuracy. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of luxury service standards. As a Reservations Agent, you will play a key part in ensuring a positive guest experience from the very first interaction.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include but are not exclusive to:

  • Responding promptly to all phone, email, and online reservation inquiries.
  • Accurately inputting and updating guest reservations in the hotel’s reservation system.
  • Providing detailed information about room types, packages, rates, and amenities.
  • Upselling room categories and additional services to maximize revenue.
  • Coordinating special requests and communicate them effectively to relevant departments.
  • Maintaining knowledge of hotel operations, promotions, events, and local area offerings.
  • Ensuring all guest interactions are handled with grace, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Handle cancellations, modifications, and no-shows according to policy.
  • Assist with group bookings and collaborate with sales or events teams as needed.
