We are looking for a Reservations Agent who will be responsible for handling guest inquiries, managing reservations efficiently, and delivering personalized service to ensure a seamless booking experience in line with IHG standards. A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be: Handling reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms in a professional and timely manner. Providing accurate information about room types, availability, rates, packages, and hotel facilities. Maximizing revenue by upselling rooms, packages, and additional services. Maintaining accurate guest profiles and updating reservation details in the system. Coordinating with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams to ensure smooth operations. Responding promptly to guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with a service-oriented approach. Monitoring reservation trends and reporting discrepancies or opportunities to the Department Head. Ensuring compliance with IHG reservation policies, standards, and procedures. Promoting IHG Rewards Club and encouraging guest enrollments. What we need from you: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field preferred. 1–3 years’ experience in Reservations or Front Office within a 4/5-star hotel. Strong communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in Opera PMS or similar hotel reservation systems. Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences. Must speak fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
