RESERVATIONS COORDINATOR – SYDNEY RESTAURANT GROUP

Sydney Restaurant Group is on the lookout for an experienced Reservations Coordinator to join our office team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in section waiter roles who is eager to shift to a more structured schedule, free of late nights. We’re also welcoming candidates who are eager to embark on a new career.
We are offering both casual and full-time positions based in our newly renovated office space. Weekend availability is required on a rotating schedule.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Ideally, at least 1 year of experience in reservations or reception roles.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Restaurant floor management experience is a bonus.
• Knowledge of the Seven Rooms reservation platform is preferred but not essential.
• A keen attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to be flexible and responsive to guest requests.
• A problem-solving mindset with a professional and positive approach.

• Responding to reservation and group booking inquiries via phone and email for our venues including Sails, Ventuno, Aqua, Ripples Chowder Bay, The Fenwick, Manta Restaurant, and more.
• Reporting to the Reservations Manager and supporting day-to-day booking operations.
• Ensuring a smooth and professional process for guests booking reservations and events.
