JOB SUMMARY
We’re looking for a Reservations & Events Manager to oversee bookings, guest relations, and private events across Akoko (Michelin-starred, Fitzrovia) and Akara (casual dining, Borough Yards).
Reporting to the Group General Manager, this role is responsible for managing reservations, capturing guest preferences, and ensuring seamless communication so every visit feels personal. You’ll also drive revenue through private hires, events, and concierge partnerships.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience in reservations, sales, or events within high-quality restaurants
Strong communication skills with guests, concierges, and VIPs
Highly organised, detail-driven, and commercially minded
Knowledge of booking systems (SevenRooms and OpenTable preferred)
Ability to work across operations, marketing, and finance
Calm, proactive, and confident under pressure
