We are currently recruiting for a Reservations Executive to join our busy Sales/Reservations team. The main purpose of this role is to take ownership of sales enquiries. We need someone who is highly organised and has passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities

Experience:

• Front Desk: 1 year (preferred

• To ensure that all reservations are entered correctly on to the Mews reservations system and all guest requests are met and communicated to the relevant department.
• To have a friendly telephone manner to deal with all incoming enquiries and to understand the importance of selling rooms and upselling upgrades.
• Be familiar with all packages, special offers and corporate rates.
• Ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your department product, in addition to being aware of the total hotel facilities.
• Continuously promote sales within Reception, Sales department and across the hotel up selling at every opportunity.
• Effective communications levels with all departments.
• Continuously build effective relationships with all new guests/clients while maintaining existing business relationships.
• To work as part of the Team, being aware of colleagues and their needs and a flexible attitude to working days and shifts in accordance with the departmental roster.
• To observe all GDPR standards in handling sensitive information
• Manage guests’ reservations, ensuring that their needs and wants are met to the highest standard.
• Responding efficiently and effectively to guest feedback.
• Ensure expectations are set correctly, in advance of the guest’s stay.
• Be knowledgeable about guest rooms, locations, amenities, features and all other services offered by the Hotel
• Occasional reception shifts will be required to cover team holidays or cover reception breaks.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience of working in a similar role
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Mews/Opera/Hotsoft or other similar client system
• Friendly and approachable personality
• Excellent team player
• Professional phone manner
• Sales experience would be a distinctive advantage
