Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Group Reservations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in ensuring seamless coordination between sales, marketing, accounting, conference services, and group meeting planners to deliver exceptional service and accurate bookings. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and committed to maximizing occupancy and revenue through efficient reservation management. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing, Accounting, Conference Services, and Group Meeting Planners to facilitate smooth reservation processes. - Create, update, and maintain group room blocks, booking links, and reservations to meet client needs. - Ensure clients are provided with the appropriate room types, facilities, and services as per their requirements. - Handle all reservations in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner, providing excellent customer service. - Quote and negotiate rates to maximize room revenue and average daily rate in accordance with Avion standards. - Monitor and manage group inventory and rates to optimize hotel occupancy and profitability. - Maintain accurate records of reservations, client preferences, and special requests. - Assist in resolving any booking discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively. - Support the sales team with reporting and analysis related to group bookings and occupancy trends. Requirements - High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent preferred. - Six months of reservations experience in the hospitality industry or a related customer service role. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, and Excel required. - Experience with Group Sales computer systems, including Delphi and SMS. - Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines. - Capable of using multiple systems simultaneously. - Self-starter, results-oriented, team player, and demonstrates a high level of attention to detail. - Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic, evolving environment. - Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external clients. - Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. - Knowledge of revenue management principles is a plus. - A professional, friendly demeanor with a commitment to delivering outstanding service Join our team and be part of a vibrant, growth-oriented environment where your contributions directly impact our guests' experiences and our hotel's success.
