Job Description Pullman Auckland is seeking an experienced and driven Reservations Manager to lead our high‑performing Reservations team during a 12‑month maternity cover period. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is passionate about driving revenue, and enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences. As our Reservations Manager, you will oversee the full Reservations function for Pullman Auckland. You’ll ensure smooth daily operations, maximise occupancy and revenue, and lead a small team of Heartists who deliver exceptional customer service with every interaction. You will work closely with key departments—including Sales, Revenue, Front Office, Conference & Events—to optimise performance, manage group allocations, support yield strategies, and uphold brand standards in all reservation processes. This is a fixed‑term, full‑time position covering maternity leave for 12 months. Lead, coach, and support the Reservations team to ensure service excellence. Maximise occupancy and revenue through effective forecasting, yield management, and strategic rate decisions. Manage all reservations channels, including Opera Cloud PMS, GDS, and online platforms. Oversee group bookings, promotional allocations, stop sells, and inventory controls. Maintain strong communication with Sales, Revenue, and Front Office to drive hotel performance. Ensure accuracy of booking data, guest profiles, and reporting. Identify revenue opportunities and continuously improve processes. Represent the Pullman and Accor brand with professionalism and Heartist spirit. Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience in a reservations/sales leadership role Experience managing group and corporate bookings, including quoting, contracting, and coordination Qualifications in Hospitality/ Tourism Management or Sales/Commercial Strong working knowledge of Opera Cloud PMS and reservation platforms such as RESAWEB (or equivalent CRS) Hotel industry experience is preferred but not essential Demonstrated leadership experience, in a sales environment preferred. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and confident phone manner Full rights to work in New Zealand Additional Information Why join Pullman Auckland?
