Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end reservations process,ensuring a seamless and elevated guest journey from booking to arrival.
  • Manage the reservations system (SevenRooms),optimising table allocation,pacing,and booking policies to maximise both guest experience and revenue.
  • Lead communication with guests via phone,email,and online platforms — handling VIPs,special requests,and last-minute changes with warmth and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the restaurant’s management and front of house teams to align daily operations,guest preferences,and pre-service planning.
  • Monitor and report on reservation trends,guest feedback,and no-show/cancellation rates to support business decisions.
  • Maintain and manage guest database and profiles,ensuring key preferences and notes are consistently updated.
  • Support in the execution of exclusive events,group bookings,and high-profile guest experiences.
  • Train and guide hosts and other team members on reservations best practices,tone of voice,and service standards.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Luso — upholding a tone that’s professional,warm,and aligned with our identity as a contemporary Portuguese restaurant.
