Proven customer service skills with sophisticated communication skills, both verbal and written. Computer literate with strong abilities in Microsoft Office. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with others easily, as well as proven problem solving abilities. Highly responsible and reliable, demonstrating initiative as required. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-based environment. What you will be doing: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service while corresponding with guests via various methods in a timely manner. Book, enter and update room reservation requests & rooming lists, as well as build & maintain group blocks, using the relevant systems to ensure a flawless check-in & check-out process. Ensure accurate payment information is received and inputted in a timely manner. Maximize revenue by upselling guestrooms and recommending hotel facilities. Assist with balancing inventory/room types. Liaise and maintain strong working relationships with Sales, Food & Beverage, Front Office & other departments as required. Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way. Due to the requirements of the role needs to be performed onsite, no working from home options available. Additional Information Our Hotel The Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport is a new dual-branded, 464-room hotel that celebrated its first year since opening on 1 July 2025! The Novotel Melbourne Airport with 248 rooms, and ibis Styles Melbourne Airport with 216 rooms, is located just steps away from Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport.
