As a Reservations Team Leader, you will be a key part of our Private Reservations team within our Sales & Marketing department, providing an excellent level of customer service at all times. The role requires leading by example and supporting the rest of the team as needed with administration, e-mail queries, online bookings and in-bound telephone reservations. This is a back of house office-based role rather than a front desk customer facing role.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE PREVIOUS HOTEL OR GUEST SERVICES EXPERIENCE, AND AT LEAST SOME WEEKEND AVAILABILITY.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deal efficiently and politely with all telephone, email and internet enquiries
  • Ensure that all reservations are recorded following established procedures and that they are input accurately & promptly onto the system
  • Maximize revenue by converting enquiries, recognising business prospects and promoting premium bookings & re-books
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency of the team, including current systems and procedures
  • Support with the delivery of ongoing training for other team members within the department
