This role ensures safe operation, regulatory compliance, and high-quality member experiences through effective scheduling, instruction coordination, equipment oversight, and event management. The coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for members, and external partners while promoting participation, skill development, and a strong culture of safety, sportsmanship and responsibility. Provide excellent customer service support in a professional and timely manner. Primary Job Functions Oversee daily operations of shooting and archery programs, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and in compliance with club policies, local laws and governing body regulations. Develop, schedule and coordinate practices, classes, leagues, competitions and special events. Enforce range safety rules and procedures; ensure all participants receive appropriate safety orientation and training. Maintain, inspect and manage firearms, bows, targets, range equipment, and supplies to ensure proper condition and availability. Conduct regular inventory of all equipment and supplies. Serve as primary point of contact for members regarding program information, scheduling, rules, and participation. Promote participation and member engagement through outreach, communication and program development initiatives. Maintain accurate records related to attendance, equipment use, certifications, and incident reporting. Help with maintaining trail system and maintenance in other areas of the property when needed. Auxiliary Job Functions Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements or new offerings. Ensure proper storage, transportation and security of firearms, bows, ammunition and related equipment. Assist with oversight, scheduling and safe operation of Mountain Bike and ATV use on designated trails and areas. Support compliance with insurance, risk management and liability requirements. Perform other duties as assigned to support overall club operations. Education, Training, and Skills Requirements High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience. Experience in shooting sports and archery, or related fields, preferred. Range Safety Officer certification (or willingness to obtain during employment) High level of organization, time management, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role demands significant level of trust and accountability. Must operate efficiently and calmly in a dynamic outdoor environment. Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and move about freely in a multi-floor building and open space. The employee is frequently required to visually observe the condition of their surroundings. He/she is routinely required to bend, stoop, stand, walk, carry, and lift objects weighing 50 pounds or less. It is inevitable that other duties will arise from time to time.
