JOB SUMMARY
Supervise Reset Merchandising Partners who perform merchandising resets and small fixture installations supporting new store construction and store remodels. Store fixture installations include floor fixtures and other store display equipment. Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review.
QUALIFICATIONS & KEY REQUIREMENTS
Directly supervises and advises hourly, entry-level hourly Partners, setting day-to-day objectives, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, pursuing effective processes, and maintaining schedules. Directs team to complete assignments using established guidelines, procedures, and policies. Work assignments are predetermined, limited in scope, follow established practices and procedures, and are subject to a moderate level of control and review. A portion of time is normally spent performing individual tasks related to the team/department.
Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve goals may impact team/department deadlines, resources, and/or results. May recommend improvements and manage costs.
Assists with managerial decisions and activities including hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews.
Technical, vocational, or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of education and/or relevant work experience. Completion of H-E-B Management / Leadership programs where applicable (i.e. SORM or ATL).
Experience in all aspects merchandising using Plan-O-Grams.
Previous Supervisory experience.
Experience desired includes - home improvement stores, big box retail, pharmacy, planograms, national rollouts, remodel, basic gondola fixture parts knowledge, new stores, and experience with national racking standards for Gondola / Retail Fixture installation, a deep understanding of merchandising.
Advanced understanding of fixture placement drawings and reading blueprint
Computer skills including Microsoft Office software, H-E-B systems, and designated conference call systems.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to travel to any US work location.
Works within established guidelines, processes, and procedures. May recommend improvements to achieve team goals. Providing input in managing costs related to the team/department.
Ensure arrangement and placement of products on the shelves in accordance with blueprints and plan-o-grams (POGs).
Uses technology and data to manage inventory and Product Shelf Assignments, tags, and POGs.
