Description The Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) is a paraprofessional staff member of Campus Town and The PRC Group. As a representative of Campus Town, the RLC directly supervises the Resident Assistants (RAs) and plays a key role in cultivating a positive, high-quality living experience for residents. This is a live-in position that includes a fully furnished one-bedroom studio apartment with utilities, cable, and internet provided. The apartment is pet-friendly for one small pet, subject to the employer pet policy. ________________________________________ Administrative Responsibilities Oversee front-desk operations in the Leasing Office, including resident interaction, leasing inquiries, and rent payments. Manage scheduling and coverage for student staff. Serve as the primary point of contact for RA supervision and support. Coordinate and participate in events at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), such as Open Houses, Accepted Student Days, and Homecoming. Lead the Resident Assistant (RA) selection, hiring, and training processes. Conduct tours of model apartments. Facilitate weekly RA staff meetings. Ensure the completion of Health and Safety Inspections. Maintain and update social media accounts and the monthly resident newsletter. Address and document potential lease violations. Ensure file documentation is accurate and audit-ready in accordance with PRC Group policy. Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. Perform other duties as assigned. Salary Range: $46k - $49k Benefits: Dental, Vision, Medical, Life Insurance, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Holidays Requirements Serve in an advisory role to the Resident Assistants. Maintain knowledge of all terms, policies, and procedures related to residential living. ________________________________________ Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Previous experience in residence life, student affairs, or a related field preferred. ________________________________________ Physical Demands Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to respond to emergencies, which may require walking up three to four flights of stairs.
