Description The Resident Activities Coordinator plays a key role in enhancing the quality of life at Casa di Francesco Apartments, a senior independent living community in Seffner, Florida. This position supports the social, organizational, and administrative needs of residents by helping facilitate tenant-led organizations, planning engaging and compliant activity programs, and providing essential administrative support to the leasing office. This is a part-time position (approximately 24 hours per week), requiring a full-day shift on Sunday, with additional weekday hours (3–4 days, Monday–Friday) scheduled based on community needs. We offer flexibility and will work with your availability whenever possible. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Activities Coordination Plan and lead engaging programs that reflect residents’ interests and needs Ensure activities meet program guidelines and maintain participation records Promote events through various communication channels Connect residents with community services and provide guidance on available resources Tenant Organization Support Support resident councils and groups with meetings, communication, and events Encourage resident leadership and community engagement Act as a liaison between residents and management Administrative Support Assist the leasing office with daily administrative tasks (phones, filing, data entry, etc.) Help maintain compliant tenant files and support leasing processes Provide general support to the management team as needed Requirements High school diploma or its equivalent. Experience with seniors a plus. Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve and provide results for the elderly and disabled served. Cooperative and able to work as part of a team. Strong oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with word processing software, and other business software and office equipment. Consistently positive, professional and friendly demeanor.
