We are seeking a responsible and caring Resident Assistant (RA) / House Parent to join our team and provide a supportive, safe, and well-structured living environment for our student-athletes (aged 16-19). This role is ideal for someone who is nurturing, organized, and able to maintain clear boundaries while offering guidance and mentorship. Would suit someone who could work from home at the team facility or who is looking to provide these services in exchange for accommodation.
This is a live-in position and the right candidate would be available overnight and on weekends.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Police clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, supportive, and dependable in challenging situations.
• Previous experience with youth supervision, coaching, teaching, or caregiving is an asset.

• Supervise and support students in residence, fostering a safe and positive home environment.
• Enforce and implement team/residence policies.
• Prepare some meals and assist with basic cooking.
• Organize groceries.
• Oversee household responsibilities including cleaning, laundry, and upkeep.
• Support students in emergencies, health concerns, and day-to-day issues.
• Act as a role model and provide a consistent adult presence in the home.
