Description Providence Life Services offers Independent Living in apartments and town homes, as well as Assisted Living, Memory Support, short-term post-acute Rehab services, and long-term Skilled Nursing Care in our senior communities in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. Victorian Village, located in Homer Glen, our Continuing Care Senior Community is seeking a part time Resident Aide for our day shift. The hours for this position is from 6:30am-2:30pm which would include every other weekend. Summary of essential job functions Assist in toileting, bathing, and daily grooming of assigned residents. Maintain a calm, pleasant living environment for the residents. Report and document changes in medical condition to the appropriate nurses on duty. Give and receive shift reports to ensure consistent medical care is delivered. Measure and record vital signs as necessary or instructed. Participates in life enriching activities for our residents. Requirements Previous experience in a senior living community or long-term care is a plus. Compassionate and empathetic personality. Must be CPR certified or obtain one within 3 months of hire.
