We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1st Shift Resident Aide (RA) Supervisor to join our team. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced caregiver who is passionate about resident care, staff development, and fostering a positive team environment. The 1st Shift RA Supervisor will play a key role in supporting daily operations, training team members, and ensuring high-quality care is consistently delivered throughout the facility.     Resident Aide Shift Supervisor Position Description   “To glorify God by providing a continuum of care and services that demonstrates the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.”                                                                     Position Summary: The Resident Assistant Shift Supervisor will be the primary point of contact to train new RA staff members, coordinate shift care and audits, and help develop a strong shift team for the entire facility.   Essential Responsibilities: * Onboards new RA staff * Follows through with new staff on a 30 day/60 day/90 day touchpoints * Assists in development and implementation of training assignments for new staff. * Manages, creates and adjusts RA assignments for each unit in collaboration with the Assistant Administrator and scheduler. * Schedule and conduct shift meetings routinely and as needed. * Implements and follows through with team building on assigned shift. * Follows through with completion of point of care documentation, assuring that it is complete for the shift. * Completes audits on care including, weights, vitals, oral care and nail care completion. * Implements shower schedules for resident on assigned shift and ensures that these showers are completed. * Manages 360 care appointments assists with residents’ schedules for 360 care appointments if on assigned shift. * Point of contact for supply requests and supply control on each unit. * Call light monitoring and follow through * Works assignment on the floor based on facility need * Collaborates with the Assistant Administrator for RA annual reviews. * Works with Assistant Administrator and Clinical Managers for educational needs of RAs. * Assists with scheduling and covering shifts * On call every fourth weekend. * Other duties as assigned   Education, Training, Experience: * High School Diploma or GED required. * 1-2 years of experience in an assisted living facility.   Physical Demands: * Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, and bending. * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
