Benefits Include: 401K with a 4% safe harbor match Perks at Work- Discounted pricing on purchases Holiday Pay including a Floating Holiday Generous PTO that rolls over year over year Employee Assistance Program Paycheck Advances Healthcare options Financial Hardship Programs Compassionate Leave PTO Cashout Option Location: The Village of River Oaks, an Independent and Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community Shifts Available: * 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. * 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. * 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. PRN Shifts Available Must be available to work weekends and holidays ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and dining, while encouraging as much independence as possible. * Serve meals in the dining room or residents’ apartments, assist in meal preparation, and encourage proper nutrition and hydration. * Initiate and participate in leisure activities, encouraging residents to socialize and build friendships. * Maintain accurate and timely records, documenting leisure activities, incidents, observations, and any changes in residents' conditions. * Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, performing general housekeeping duties. * Follow proper procedures in emergencies and respond quickly to resident requests, including emergency call pendants and telephone calls. * Know each resident’s location, remind them to sign out when leaving, and promptly report if a resident cannot be located. * Foster a cooperative team environment through positive interactions with co-workers. * Attend all required in-service training sessions. * Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team. * Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene in accordance with company policies. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * High School diploma or GED required. * 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail. * Understanding of HIPAA requirements. Responsibilities
