Resident Attendant/Medication Care Partner Aspira West Park Crossing Retirement Living - 1801 Meier Dr, Moose Jaw, SK, S6J 0C3 Rate of Pay: $17.23 This posting is for an existing vacancy. This is a Permanent Full-Time NIGHT position with 75 hours biweekly. As a Resident Attendant, you’ll form a deep understanding of your residents and their living experience. You will build relationships with the residents and their family members, offering a variety of support options and program choices that enrich their daily health and well-being. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day. What makes you a great fit? * Answers all resident call bells and door alarms promptly and provides courteous service * Completes all aspects of resident care as outlined in the plan of care and care assignments * Transports residents to and from their rooms, recreational activities, health office and dining room as required * Completes laundry and housekeeping duties as outlined by assignments * Deals tactfully and courteously with residents, residents' families and reports any concerns / complaints to the team leader * Practices safe food handling techniques throughout all aspects of food preparation and service * Performing other duties as assigned What you need to know: * Minimum of six months of experience in a similar role. * Basic or Standard First Aid * Certification in Personal Support Worker or Personal Care Worker, or a 16 hour course that covers the provision of personal care and that is recognized by the department. If you don't have this, you must be willing to complete this course within 3 months of start date. * Medication Assistance Module; or willing to obtain upon hire. * Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team * You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit * You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check * Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this position Sienna Senior Living is committed to employment equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
