JOB SUMMARY

This role is for a Resident Engineer based at WA5 3PW You will be working independently in an MHE environment carrying out all elements of MHE traction battery-related tasks such as, battery changes, topping, cleaning, carrying out minor repairs. This position will be supported by an external senior engineer and a field based manager that will support both remotely and one to one on a regular basis .The successful candidate will be required to;

  • Proactively maintain all battery and charger related equipment onsite – this includes topping with deionised water and cleaning with Juice and site approved cleaning substances.
  • Change Batteries on MHE equipment on site demands
  • Carry out repairs on equipment as and where necessary in order to maximise operational capability.
  • Work in line with a fixed SLA and as guided by the account manager and site management.
  • Work accurately, efficiently and be able to use own initiative on a continued regular basis.
  • Support management in managing and developing site performance and process’.
  • Communicate regularly with the customers at all levels ensuring that all issues are reported accurately and daily.
  • Adopt the site maintenance routine ensuring existing standards are maintained and improved where possible.
  • Adhere to all H&S policies as specified by Juice and site.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hold exceptional organisational skills
  • Be confident in communicating across all levels, both written and verbally to customers and management
  • Be Microsoft Excel literate and android literate.
  • Be reliable with great time keeping abilities
  • Possess excellent communication skills
