Reporting to the Director, Resident Services or Director, Assisted Living and taking work direction from the Resident Care Coordinator/Clinical Care Coordinator or Team Lead LPN (Assisted Living), the Resident Care Aide / ALW works as a team member to carry out care functions and procedures related to the physical, spiritual and recreational needs of the resident.
Qualifications Education/Knowledge
Successful completion of an approved resident care/home support program.
A minimum of six months experience caring for complex care clients, including those with dementia.
Other Skills and Abilities
· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
· Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
· Ability to deal with others effectively.
· Ability to organize work.
· Ability to operate related equipment.
