Beztak is looking to hire a Resident Care Coordinator join our team. Aids the Assisted Living Director in organizing and overseeing the Assisted Living and/or Memory Care operation within a community. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Maintains consistent contact with residents and family members to provide prompt and courteous resolution to concerns. * Deal with resident concerns and requests on a timely basis, in coordination with the Assisted Living Director, to ensure resident satisfaction with management. * Ensure current resident files, inclusive of care plans, are properly maintained. * Aids the Assisted Living Director in coordinating all aspects of the operation to meet and exceed state regulations. * Aids the Assisted Living Director in achieving acceptable results from state and other regulatory agencies. * Assists Director of Assisted Living with hiring and training of department team members. * Provides support to staff to encourage team work and lead as an example in creating a harmonious environment. * Aids the Director of Assisting Living with maintaining community appearance and repairs. * Ensure all administrative paperwork is accurate, complete and submitted on a timely basis. * Utilizes technology as a practice to be efficient with community resources. * Ensure proper response and handling of all community emergencies with staff. * Represents the company in a professional manner at all times. * Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties. Candidates must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed * Working in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, having effective interpersonal skills PERSONAL QUALITIES: * Flexible, innovative and demonstrates the ability to lead and manage. * High integrity, positive attitude, mission drive and self-directed. * Passion, dedication and commitment for providing seniors an engaging, enlivening and captivating living environment. * Ability to identify issues before or as they occur. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION: * Five years of experience in the industry or a related field. * Working knowledge of the industry. * Thorough comprehension of the regulations related to the operation of the community. * Excellent verbal, written and listening skills. * Proficient computer skills including but not related to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the community’s EHR platform.
