Qualifications Who you are: Minimum of 1 year of experience in senior living Minimum of 2-year degree in Social Services or a related field is preferred Previous experience working with seniors with dementia is preferred Previous leadership experience is preferred Essential Job Duties: Provides direct supervision, training and coaching of resident care staff Completes resident assessments, care conferences and attends to any immediate resident needs Observes residents' heath status, takes actions to address concerns within scope of practice, reports all significant changes or incidents to the RN or Administrator as appropriate. Communicates with resident families as needed Provides direct resident care when needed, i.e., takes blood pressure, weights, assists with lifting/transferring/turning residents, etc. Follows all facility policies and procedures
Responsibilities
The Resident Care Coordinator provides direct supervision, training, and coaching of resident care staff while completing resident assessments and addressing immediate resident needs. They also monitor residents' health status and communicate with families as necessary.
