The Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for medication management and direct care for residents, following individual service plans. Benefits Include:  401K with a 4% safe harbor match Perks at Work- Discounted pricing on purchases Holiday Pay including a Floating Holiday Generous PTO that rolls over year over year Employee Assistance Program Paycheck Advances Healthcare options Financial Hardship Programs Compassionate Leave PTO Cashout Option   Location:  Wood Glen Court, an Assisted Living senior community     Pay Rate: $18.50/hr. - $19.50/hr.   Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Administer and manage medications as prescribed, monitor resident responses, and adhere to infection control protocols. * Orient and train new Resident Medication Aides (RMAs) and Resident Assistants (RAs) through hands-on mentoring. * Maintain accurate resident records, documenting medication distribution, health changes, and incidents in compliance with company policies. * Coordinate with the Director of Resident Care (DRC) for staffing needs, assist in recruitment, and support teamwork among staff. * Follow procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance. * Ensure the medicine supply room and medication area are organized and compliant with regulations. * Assist with staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage per state regulations. * Conduct medication audits, ensure timely refills, and maintain inventory. * Facilitate training for new staff on medication administration and facility policies. * Document shift reports and ensure effective communication during shift changes.   MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * High School diploma or GED required. * 1-2 years of experience in a senior living community. * Delegated by a Registered Nurse for medication administration. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
