What You'll Do: In the Resident Coordinator role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure living environment for clients of Interfaith's Family Shelter Program. Working alongside a comprehensive team of skilled professionals, the Resident Coordinator engages with case managers and clinical therapists, and the shelter team to get the family back to self-sufficiency. Maintain a safe and secure living environment for clients (drug, alcohol, violence-free) Acclimate new clients to their living arrangements; assist with client intakes and exits Educate clients on all program policies and procedures; enforce program policies and procedures Monitor client affairs and help to resolve any issues that may arise Promptly notify supervisor (as well as other appropriate staff) of any problematic client behaviors, compliance issues, or any other problems that arise Assist in assigning chores to clients; oversee completion of chores and ensure safety standards are maintained at all times Assess for any drug/alcohol consumption and inform appropriate staff immediately Review the logbook daily and update the next shift of any notable issues Accurately record all emergency, disciplinary, and other events that occur during the scheduled shift Immediately report medical emergencies to the appropriate agencies/organizations; administer First Aid/CPR and follow agency protocol and standard procedures in emergency situations Perform wellness checks on residents as needed or required Participate in all staff meetings and trainings Work with other Resident Coordinators to maintain cohesiveness of the community Ensure that properties meet standards to pass Federal, State and Local inspections Coordinate utilities checks, fire drills and other checks/repairs as needed or required to maintain facility compliance with Federal, State and Local inspections Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements Who You Are: You're passionate about making a lasting impact, whether supporting individuals directly or enhancing our organizational effectiveness.
