Description
HealthPartners has Dental Residency opportunities within our Dental Department. The dental residency program at HealthPartners provides qualified dentists the opportunity to enhance their skills in the diagnosis and treatment of dental conditions by being immersed in a busy dental practice associated with a large medical group. Being a part of our team means you will have an impact on the care that our patients receive every day. This post-graduate residency program is offered by HealthPartners in Minnesota. While in the training program, all residents without exception will function under the supervision of a staff practitioner. The training programs will be structured to encourage and permit residents and fellows to assume increasing levels of responsibility commensurate with their individual growth process in experience, skill, knowledge and judgment. The following duties are required of all residents: Initiate and follow a personal program of professional growth in conjunction with the formal educational and training of the residency program. This includes ensuring compassionate, appropriate, and cost-effective patient care. Skills demonstrated by the resident should be commensurate with their level of training and responsibility. Participate in the educational activities of the program. Perform procedures as required by the programs. Meet institutional requirements with respect to completion of the electronic health record (EHR). Participate, when appropriate on committees and councils whose actions affect resident education and patient care. Participate in program specific educational experiences. Complete all required institutional training program. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Canadian or United States Dental school. You will be joining a team that is supportive and respectful of one another and deeply committed to the mission of HealthPartners. Here, you’ll become a partner for good, helping to improve the health and well-being of our patients, members and community. Our commitment to excellence, compassion, partnership and integrity is behind everything we do. It’s the type of work that makes a difference, the kind of work you can be proud of. We hope you’ll join us.
