Job Details Job Location: Mechanicsville, VA 23111 Provide residents with hydration and nutrition according to their prescribed diet. Maintain a clean and safe environment and perform job responsibilities in a safe manner. Essential Job Responsibilities: Meal set up and meal preparation. Plating of meals according to the resident’s diet as ordered and menu selections. Break down and clean up after meals. Handwashing dishes or usage of dishwasher Housekeeping duties as assigned. Distribute ice, beverages, and/or snacks. Report any observations to the Charge Nurse and/or CNA. Respond in a calm, courteous, and cooperative manner to residents, staff, and visitors. Perform other duties as assigned. Complies with current regulatory policies and standards, including Covenant Woods employee policies. Embrace and model Covenant Woods business standards, Code of Conduct, and focus on the Promise in all aspects of delivery of service. Shifts Available: 7-3 Every Other Weekend 4-8p Every Other Weekend Job Specifications: Heimlich maneuver training required. Education and Experience: Safe Serve Training Certification or willing to train within 6 months of hire Able to read and write in English and understand portion measurements.
