Job Description The RE leads the site team and manages the scope of services to ensure all site activities comply with construction documents and specifications. The RE also coordinates with relevant authorities and clients on site-related requirements. Job Duties: Supervise quality assurance inspection staff and sub-consultants to ensure all work complies with approved plans, specifications, and project requirements. Monitor and take responsibility for the safety of AECOM staff and contractors, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Coordinate and maintain effective communication with the Client, Authorities, and Contractor personnel to support smooth project execution. Manage daily project documentation and site observations to ensure accuracy and timely reporting. Prepare, issue, and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to address deviations from project specifications. Review daily work reports submitted by inspectors and sub-consultants for completeness and accuracy. Draft and issue project correspondence to the Contractor and Client as required. Expedite the approval process for permits and regulatory clearances, minimising delays to project timelines. Lead weekly progress meetings with the Client, Contractor, and project team to review progress and resolve issues. Maintain project documentation in accordance with company and client standards. Negotiate change orders on behalf of the Client with the Contractor and provide recommendations for approval. Review and approve the contractor’s monthly invoices, verifying the quantities and values of completed work. Prepare and review monthly project status reports, summarising progress, risks, and key developments. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Lead to support project delivery. Supervise and mentor the Assistant Resident Engineer to ensure adequate performance and professional development. Liaise with the head office for resource planning and allocation throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Minimum of 15 years post-undergraduate experience plus 5 years in a senior technical position. Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering field (i.e. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural etc) and PMP preferable, plus membership of a recognized professional institution preferred Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
