Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Resident Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our engineering department, you will oversee and manage large-scale construction projects for private developers, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with local regulations. Provide on-site engineering expertise and leadership throughout all phases of construction projects Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project goals and timelines are met Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks Resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to complex engineering problems Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations Manage project budgets and resources effectively Prepare and present detailed progress reports to stakeholders Mentor and guide junior engineers on the team Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior resident engineer role Proven experience working with private developers on large-scale construction projects Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices Proficiency in project management software and CAD applications Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices Understanding of contract management and dispute resolution Familiarity with UAE construction standards and regulations Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment Strong leadership and team management skills Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
