RESIDENT ENGINEER

Roughan O’Donovan (ROD) is looking to recruit a resident engineer for a fixed term, 15-month, contract role on the Coonagh to Knockalisheen Distributor Road scheme in Limerick City.
Job type: Fixed-term contract
Contract duration: 15 months
Location: Coonagh to Knockalisheen Distributor Road, Limerick City

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a resident engineer on the Coonagh to Knockalisheen Distributor Road, you will be part of the site-based team responsible for the supervision of the construction of a 2.2km, urban dual carriageway road on the outskirts of north Limerick City. You will report directly to the project resident engineer.

The scheme comprises approximately:

  • 2.2km of urban dual carriageway road with footway and cycleways
  • 0.6km of new urban single carriageway road with footways and cycleways
  • 2.0km of major improvements to an existing urban single carriageway road with footways and cycleways
  • construction of one concrete overbridge over the existing Limerick to Galway railway line
