Description Galloway Ridge is an upscale continuing care retirement community offering top-quality care in a warm, welcoming environment and we are looking for a Resident Enrichment Program Assistant to join our team! The RE Program Assistant is someone who takes initiative, approachable and warm, and works well in a team setting. Reporting directly to the Director of Integrated Services, the Program Assistant provides hands-on operational support for resident programming and daily activities. This role ensures resident and staff-led programs run smoothly by coordinating entries in our newsletter, preparing spaces, troubleshooting needs in real time, and serving as a responsive resource for residents and team members. The position is highly visible and relationship-focused, contributing directly to a seamless and engaging resident program experience. This is a full-time, 40 hour/week job requiring some flexibility in schedule. The Resident Enrichment office is open M-F from 8:30AM - 5:00PM. The Program Assistant operates generally on this schedule with occasional evening work to cover programs. The job requires a commitment of 1 Sunday afternoon per month to support Galloway Ridge Special Events with time off during the week to compensate. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Program & Activity Support · Coordinates the collection and entry of information for our monthly newsletter relating to resident-led / run programs · In close coordination with our Resident Enrichment Coordinators (planners), the Program Assistant assists with execution of daily resident and staff-led programs · Conduct daily check-ins with program leaders to confirm needs and requests are met · Ensure rooms are properly set (furniture, supplies, signage, A/V, refreshments as needed) · Provide real-time support during programs, addressing requests or troubleshooting issues · Track and communicate program updates, changes, or follow-up items Event Support · Support Sunday special events (generally 1x/month) from an A/V and set-up perspective, ensuring all goes smoothly · Assist with event setup, breakdown, and day-of coordination for programs and events · Help ensure a welcoming, organized, and hospitable environment Operational Coordination · Maintain familiarity with spaces across campus, their setup requirements, capacity limits, and table/chair inventory · Learn and operate audio/visual equipment in multiple venues · Document attendance or program notes as requested Resident & Team Engagement · Build positive relationships with residents and encourage participation · Serve as a visible, approachable presence in program spaces · Serve as an integral team member for the Resident Enrichment office, participating in daily stand-up meetings and longer-term planning meetings · Collaborate with cross-department partners (Dining, Facilities, Healthcare, etc.) All other duties assigned include, but are not limited, to enhancing the Resident Experience.
