Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Mott MacDonald is looking for a Resident Engineer for the construction supervision works for a Large Landscape project (wet & dry utilities, internal roads & parks) in Abu Dhabi.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES ARE LISTED, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE BELOW:

  • Assist the Project Director with project management whilst leading and covering all engineering disciplines across the project’s requirements, during design and supervision
  • Direct the supervision, coordination, compliance of all works including land development, site improvements and Highrise Buildings construction
  • Monitor progress of the project against the agreed schedule
  • Check the Contractor’s submission and respond to their request for information
  • Observe site safety procedures and actively monitor and report on contractor’s safety performance, raising non-conformance reports when required
  • Actively monitor the implementation of contractor’s quality procedures and raise non-conformance reports, as and when required
  • Responding for maintaining and enhancing Mott MacDonald’s reputation with the client and developing long term relationships
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations to update the client on progress
