RESIDENT LIAISON OFFICER

£32,000 - £35,000 per year
Location: E17 5DU
Employment Type: Permanent
Probation Period: 6 Months
Schedule: Monday to Friday

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the public housing sector in a customer-focused role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with residents and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proactive and highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential).
Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for residents regarding refurbishment and repair works.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, ensuring their concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Organise and attend resident meetings to communicate work schedules and expectations.
  • Provide ongoing updates to residents and stakeholders about project progress.
  • Resolve resident issues and escalate when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct pre-entry surveys and inspections to identify potential concerns before work commences.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, complaints, and resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Work closely with site teams, project managers, and contractors to facilitate smooth project delivery.
  • Assist vulnerable residents with additional support needs during construction works.
