JOB SUMMARY

The Residence Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of residential properties, ensuring a high standard of living for residents while maintaining the property’s integrity and profitability. This position requires strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive approach to property management. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of administrative expertise, sales acumen, and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with residents and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in office administration or property management is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on relationship building.
  • Familiarity with Yardi software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
  • Proficient in data entry, filing systems, and general office procedures.
  • Strong phone etiquette with effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus, demonstrating an ability to market properties effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity for growth within the organization while contributing to creating a welcoming community for all residents.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the residence, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Utilize Yardi software for property management tasks including data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure maintenance standards are met and coordinate with maintenance staff using CMMS.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance resident satisfaction and retention through effective communication and engagement.
  • Assist in the leasing process by showcasing available units, negotiating lease terms, and processing applications.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, maintenance requests, and financial transactions.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment by training and supervising office staff as needed.
