Position: Resident Manager
Location: Vancouver, BC
We are seeking a professional, qualified individual for the position of Resident Manager for a 360 unit building in Vancouver. The Resident Manager is responsible to facilitate the efficient operation of the property, ensuring property maintenance, tenant relations, rent collections, investigating and resolving tenant complaints and issues, supervision of contractors, communicating with the Property Manager on operational issues, and assisting the building administrator and leasing agent with marketing and leasing duties when required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Qualified candidates should possess at least 2 years of managing a large apartment complex
  • Customer service oriented, with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Availability to work flexible work schedule, including on call coverage including other buildings from time to time
Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the building is well maintained visually, mechanically, and operationally
  • Ensure cleanliness of all common areas and vacant suites
  • Minor maintenance
  • Co-ordinate contractor work
  • Showing apartments to potential renters when required
  • Organize and file appropriate records
  • Control all keys / security systems for the common areas and units
  • Post and/or deliver notices and other documentation to tenants as required
  • Complete move-in and move-out condition reports
