Job Roles / Responsibilities: The candidate will be assigned the following responsibilities: Outpatient: Perform preoperative assessment of patients visiting preoperative anaesthesia clinic. Perform assessment of patient visiting pain clinic and make initial management plan. Operating Room: Prepare theatre for scheduled surgery. Make anaesthesia management plan. Administer anaesthesia according to assigned privileges Manage patients in PACU. Wards: Perform preoperative and postoperative rounds. Perform daily ward rounds with member of acute and chronic pain management team. ICU: Perform initial assessment and make initial management plan. Perform daily rounds with ICU consultant. Daily management of patients under supervision of the consultant Miscellaneous: Provide anaesthesia service under supervision of consultants in: Labour room suite for painless delivery Radiology suite for various radiological procedures Psychiatry wards for ECT therapy On-call: Be available on the premises when on-call. Handover and takeover charge from the outgoing team. Attend to all patient related issues and counsel when on-call including the operating room, ICU, emergency room and ward. Communicate patient’s clinical status with instructors and consultants when needed. Requirements: MBBS PMDC Registration FCPS-I is mandatory in Anesthesiology. Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
Responsibilities
