Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Resident Medical Officer in the Department of Radiology. Responsibilities: You will be responsible to: Demonstrate punctuality and comply with departmental norms. Perform clinical responsibilities in patient assessment, diagnostic procedures, and post-procedure care. Undertake rotations in radiology areas, including general reporting, cross-sectional imaging, and ultrasound. Conduct reporting sessions, radiological services, and procedures as defined in the monthly rota. Teach students rotating through the radiology department. Contribute to the learning of healthcare professionals while staying updated on current medical literature and advancements. Participate in institutional CME, public awareness programs, and interdisciplinary meetings with other specialties. Conduct at least one clinical audit annually and assist in audit processes and documentation. Prepare and present cases in clinical meetings. Maintain a comprehensive logbook of procedures, radiation dosage records, and academic activities. Engage in research activities, including authoring case reports, writing articles, and presenting at national/international radiology conferences. Provide exemplary professional and academic leadership to fellows and residents. Participate in call duties as assigned, including periodic evening/weekend coverage and teaching undergraduates when required. Follow the guidelines of the fellowship manual and ensure high standards of medical care and service delivery. Requirements: You should have: MBBS degree with PMDC registration. Passed the FCPS Part I examination One year of house job/internship experience. Proficiency in patient assessment and history-taking. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
