Job Details Job Location: FLA-Sarasota Area Command - Sarasota, FL 34236 Position Type: Full Time Regular Salary Range: $18.00 Hourly Job Category: Housing Schedule/Hours: Tuesday to Saturday - 11pm to 7am (40 hours per week) This position is responsible for: Accepting and processing clients into the lodge/shelter facility and monitoring the activity of guests on an assigned shift ensuring safety, security, and policy compliance. Key responsibilities: Greets shelter guests and completes intakes as needed. Answers phone and provides callers applicable information. Monitors facility for safety and compliance and interacts with shelter guests in an appropriate manner. Inputs data into the Client Information System (Clarity). Ensures that the lodge/shelter is maintained in a neat and proper order. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Work is normally performed in office settings, FTS apartment units, and within the grounds of the 1400 10th Street property. There are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
