Who are we looking for? We’re seeking a Resident Project Representative to join our Water team in Buffalo, NY, supporting impactful water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the region. In this role, you’ll serve as the primary liaison between engineers and contractors, providing on-site observation for water and sewer main construction as well as associated civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural, and controls work tied to treatment facility modifications. You’ll play a key role in documenting field conditions, collecting and analyzing operational and administrative data, and maintaining accurate project records from construction through close-out. As a representative of GHD, you’ll work closely with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and the public, while assisting with shop drawing reviews, SWPPP inspections, field verification of contract compliance, preparation of record drawings, and close-out documentation. This position offers hands-on involvement with a collaborative team delivering projects that strengthen infrastructure and serve communities across Western New York. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: * Recommendations: Advise managers how to apply a wide variety of existing procedures and precedents. * Data Collection and Analysis: Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats. * Solutions Analysis: Interpret data and identify possible answers. Involves navigating a wide variety of processes, procedures, and precedents. * Improvement/Innovation: Implement improvements and provide feedback on them. Use change management systems and protocols to provide routine support services. * Geoscientific Studies and Interpretations: Contribute to well proposals by analyzing and interpreting geological/geophysical field data. * Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate risks and to safeguard the environment and the well-being of self and others. * Performance Management: Prioritize own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality, and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance. What you'll bring to the team: * High School Diploma/GED * NICET Level II (2) Certification required   * Minimum 10 years of experience in construction observation and/or construction management which including water and sewer main utility construction * NYSDOT inspection experience   * Willing and able to travel throughout the state of NY #LI-JK1 Benefits: * 401K - Employees are eligible to participate on the first day of the month following 3 months of service * Paid time off – Our PTO benefit is designed to provide eligible employees with a period of rest and relaxation, sick, and personal time throughout the year. PTO starts at 16 days per year and increases with years of service * Holiday Pay - Holiday pay is provided for eligible employees. GHD observes 9 holidays per year. Holiday pay will be based on the regular set schedule for the employee * Wellness Benefit- Regular full-term employees are eligible to participate in the wellness reimbursement program. GHD will reimburse 50% of the cost of the following to maximum of $250.00 reimbursement annually for such items as: Health club membership fees, home exercise equipment purchases, Bicycles, Race, run & marathon entrance fees, Smoking cessation programs, Weight loss programs (i.e.—Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig), Fitbits and Fitness Tracking devices Salary Range: $34.00 - $57.00 based on experience and location.
