Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

One of Ottawa’s most premium luxury condominiums in the heart of Downtown is looking for a highly organized candidate with excellent people skills for the position of Resident Services Coordinator. The Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for providing front desk services to residents and guests, undertaking various administrative duties, acting as an information source on various matters and building sustainable relationships and trust with residents through open and interactive communications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Resident & Guest Services: Greet and assist residents, guests, and contractors; respond to inquiries; manage front desk operations including phone calls, fob/key hand-offs, guest suite and amenity bookings, and resident communications via Concierge Plus.
  • Facility Coordination: Monitor and support cleanliness and maintenance of common areas; liaise with cleaning staff; manage service elevator and amenity reservations; assist with contractor access and equipment needs.
  • Communication & Administration: Maintain records, develop and post notices, manage bulletin boards and information systems (Concierge Plus, Expedibox), and ensure accurate signage across amenities.
  • Inventory & Supplies: Track office and custodial inventory; research and place orders as approved; maintain organized administrative spaces.
  • Security & Emergency Preparedness: Monitor security systems, participate in fire drills, assist in implementing emergency and lockdown protocols, and conduct regular pool chemical testing (CPO certification required or to be obtained).
  • Mail & Deliveries: Receive, log, and manage packages and courier items; notify residents of deliveries.
  • Community Support: Assist with resident events and occasional building tasks (e.g., helping with waste bins or library upkeep); foster communication between concierges for seamless coverage.
    Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 12 months
    Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week
